The itinerary--UPDATED!
So far:29 Aug (NOT the 28th, as I incorrectly believed for, oh, 3 months): Providence to Denver to visit with my good friend and former roommate Michelle and her husband Doug. I am now here safely, though tired after an hour and a half of sleep. Tomorrow is off for a hike to break in the trail shoes (hurrah last minute!) and run some errands. I will have my cell phone until Friday, so feel free to give me a call or a text!
2 Sept: Fly from LA to Nadi, Fiji
11 Sept: Fiji to Auckland, NZ
I will travel around the island for a month, perhaps renting a car in the north, and bussing it via the Kiwi Experience in the south, ending up in Christchurch.
12 Oct: Christchurch to Sydney, Aus
I'll spend a month and a half in Oz, during which I'll probably pop up to Bali and Java in Indonesia
21 Nov: Brisbane, Oz to Singapore
2 months overland through SE Asia--Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand
5 Jan: Bangkok, Thailand to Delhi, India
I'll probably spend a month in India and then pop over to Kenya and Tanzania and make my way down to South Africa, then head over to South America.
I'll be returning stateside sometime in June, so I can meet up with the group from Feehan going to France and Spain. By chaperoning that trip, I'll get a free flight (and room and board in cozy hotels, not hostels, for a couple of weeks) over to Europe, extend my stay, check out Eastern Europe, than hop on my free flight home. Not too bad!
I am also extending an open invite to anyone who'd like to join me anywhere in the world. (Mom and Dad, work on getting those passports!!) Just name where it is in the world you'd like to go, and provided it somewhat meshes with where I am, I'll come meet you. Just be prepared to travel budget style!!

Thanks everyone! Monika, I did get the text. Thank you! It made my day! My last month was unfortunately quite hectic and I dropped the ball on correspondence, but I will email soon! Dave, can't wait to use the flickr map!
