The internet is far too instant, be it email or blog it is dangerously prone to uninformed sensationalisation. Eva Holland's blog "article" is a good example of poor journalism lacking any effort to explore both sides of a story. Just as hardcopy travel guide books are becoming an anachronism in the internet age, I fear, so too has gone quality journalism. What are they teaching journalism students these days? Courses on CNN and Fox News, and Blogging 101? As much as every citizen relies on fair and informed reporting I am sad and terrified to report that we are all screwed. Start stockpiling those canned goods in the cellar, the end is near.
